Bruce L. Randall is a USCG licensed 100-ton Master Captain who was raised in a maritime family in Boston, but has lived and sailed in Chicago for the past ten years. Most of those years he has been a sailing instructor, racing coach, and charter captain on vessels from 19-148 feet. His father, a one-design national champion who taught him to sail, was also a music teacher. "Crescendo", was named in tribute to him.

Karen M. Randall also grew up in a sailing family, on Long Island, NY. A psychologist by profession, she returned to active leisure sailing and racing 8 years ago, and earned multiple certifications in keelboat, performance, navigation, bareboat cruising, and big boat racing. She has chartered, raced and cruised Beneteau sailboats many times in the Caribbean, Greece, Italy, Mexico, and locally here on the Chicago lakefront.

Jim Marzano is a USCG licensed 100-ton Master Captain and a certified Rescue Diver. He was born and raised in the Chicago area and has sailed on Lake Michigan for almost 20 years.
During this time he has cruised and raced aboard a variety of boats, served as a sailing instructor, and a charter captain on vessels from 14-80 feet.
His racing history includes competing in over 10 Chicago-Mackinac yacht races!

Mike Gorman, a native Chicagoan, has over 25 years sailing experience and has been skippering Crescendo charters since 2006. Mike holds a USCG 100-Ton Master's License and is STCW internationally certified. Since the early 90's he has managed and captained a Caribbean based 51' Beneteau term charter sloop: www.graunya.com
