Sailing Instruction
We offer sailing instruction, in a personalized and private environment.
Learning to sail on Crescendo is ideal for the nervous first-timer who would
prefer a more stable boat, or sailors who want to advance their skills on a
larger sailboat. You could take our lessons confidently to any sailboat in a
charter fleet, or racecourse.
Rates: $55 per person, per hour in a semi-private setting.
The clinics listed below are run every weekend mornings and rotated throughout
the summer. Call us for the schedule.
Group instruction is available at a discounted rate for 2 – 6 persons.
Saturday and Sunday morning classes begin at 8:30AM.

Basic Sailing Course - 16 hours
We have scheduled our next basic sailing instruction course for Saturday, June 23rd, 2007 at 8:30am until 12:30pm.
The course will be 4 days, 4 hours per day, usually Saturday and Sunday mornings on two consecutive weekend, for a total of 16 hours of on the water sailing instruction.
The course includes developing all the skills needed that a beginner will need to confidently sail a boat,
and also would serve a great refresher for a "rusty" sailor.
Course work includes the following: identifying parts of a sail boat, safety, rules of the road, and the all the basics of sail trim.
We use US Sail's basic keelboat and coastal cruising instruction books. They are included with the course fee.
All of our instructors have over 10 years experience teaching sailing!
