The following policies apply to cancellations requested by the customer which are non-weather related. In the event of a cancellation request, Lakeshore Sail Charters will make every effort to reschedule your cruise. If this is NOT possible,

Cancellations which are requested more than 72 hours before the charge will be refunded with a 5% processing fee incurred.
Cancellations which are requested between 12 and 72 hours before the charter time, will be charged 50% of the fee.
For cancellations less than 12 hours notice, or for no-shows, the full charter fee will be incurred.

For inclement weather cancellations: If cancelled due to inclement weather, and an agreeable date and time for rescheduling is not possible, there is a cancellation fee of 33% of the booked charter rate, unless you purchase our "sail guarantee". If you purchase this for an additional 7%, you would receive a full refund if the Captain cancels due to weather.
