Private Charters

To provide you the best of personized service, private charter reservations can only be made by telephone, at 312-404-5800, between 10a-5p.

To make a reservation for a private charter, please contact the office at 312-404-5800 between 10:00am and 5:00 pm and we will be glad to help you plan your sailing excursion. Reservations cannot be made online. Charter time slots are 2.5 hours in length, but custom options of two hours or more may be available upon request. All Charters include a Captain and crew member, for your comfort and safety.

*Saturday Fireworks are a 3 hour min.

Our charters and lessons are limited to 6 passengers.
Charters are subject to 9% Chicago Amusement tax

The following policies apply to cancellations requested by the customer which are non-weather related. In the event of a cancellation request, Lakeshore Sail Charters will make every effort to reschedule your cruise. If this is NOT possible,

1. Cancellations which are requested more than 2 weeks before the charter will be refunded, with a 5% processing fee incurred.
2. Cancellations which are requested between 2 weeks and 72 hours before the charter time, will be charged 50% of the fee.
3. For cancellations less than 72 hours notice, or for no-shows, the full charter fee will be incurred.

For inclement weather cancellations: If cancelled due to inclement weather, and an agreeable date and time for rescheduling is not possible, there is a cancellation fee of 33% of the booked charter rate, unless you purchase our "sail guarantee". If you purchase this for an additional 9%, you would receive a full refund if the Captain cancels due to weather.
