The following policies apply to cancellations requested by the customer which are non-weather related. In the event of a cancellation request, Lakeshore Sail Charters will make every effort to reschedule your cruise. If this is NOT possible,

1. Cancellations which are requested more than 2 weeks before the charter will be refunded, with a 5% processing fee incurred.
2. Cancellations which are requested between 2 weeks and 72 hours before the charter time, will be charged 50% of the fee.
3. For cancellations less than 72 hours notice, or for no-shows, the full charter fee will be incurred.

For inclement weather cancellations: If cancelled due to inclement weather, and an agreeable date and time for rescheduling is not possible, there is a cancellation fee of 33% of the booked charter rate, unless you purchase our "sail guarantee". If you purchase this for an additional 9%, you would receive a full refund if the Captain cancels due to weather.
